(F) Camp Weaver
needs volunteers to help with specialty summer camps for children age 5-15. Camps run from June 28-August 6. Each lasts 1-2 weeks. Some themes include karate, soccer, mountain biking, gymnastics, and high ropes. Camp instructors must have experience in the area they lead. Other volunteers may help with field trips and child care. Minimum age: rising high-school senior.

(D) Center for Creative Arts
needs volunteers for its annual VSA Arts Festival on Friday, May 7 from 8:30 a.m. - 12 noon at Gateway Education Center. It's a day of multi-arts activities for children with disabilities in Guilford County. Volunteers will help with check in, conducting arts classes, and transporting students to assigned activities. Volunteers may be asked to push wheelchairs and help with walking devices. Minimum age 15.

(F) Greensboro Urban Ministry
needs volunteers to help with its annual fundraiser, Serving Greensboro Together. Area restaurants donate 10% of their total sales on Tuesday, May 4 to Greensboro Urban Ministry.

Make phone calls to restaurants, asking them to participate in the program. Training provided. Calls may be made during the weekday. Through May 3.

Assist with publicity for the event: put together publicity materials, distribute posters, send out participating restaurant lists, help event coordinator with other publicity avenues. April 5-May 4.

Greensboro Youth Council needs high-school students to help plan and implement the GYC Carnival from May 4 - 9 at the Greensboro Coliseum. Students will sell and take tickets and help with operations, booths, and stages. Call or check the website for an application.

needs volunteers to help place dogs in permanent adoptive homes. Adoption fairs are held every Saturday at the PetSmart on Bridford Parkway and every Sunday at the PetSmart on Lawndale Avenue. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
