Fill the Bus 2004
Fill the Bus, now in its forth year, is a campaign to help teachers get the school supplies they need for the coming year--without them having to dip into their own pockets! The event pairs CVC member and other companies with a school in close proxinity to them. The principal of each school has the teachers create wish-lists of items that they need/want for their classrooms. The companies distribute these lists and employees from the company "adopt" a teacher and supply the wishlist items. The companies are then encourage to continue their relationship with the school into the 2004-2005 school year by allowing employees to volunteer their time at the school.
