Fill the Bus--July, 2004
Fill the Bus is a corporate event presented by our Corporate Volunteer Connection to collect school supplies for area teachers. Companies are paired with a school in close proxinity to them. The principal of each school has teachers create wish-lists of items that they need/want for their classrooms. The companies then display these lists and employees from the company "adopt" a teacher and supply the wishlist items. The companies are then encouraged to continue their relationship with the school into the following school year by allowing employees to volunteer their time at the school.
