Volunteer Center staff is available to come speak to your civic, school or church group about the importance of volunteering, trends in volunteering, and different ways that your group can get involved with the community. Professional Education
The Volunteer Center provides high-quality workshops to professionals on a variety of volunteer and volunteer management related topics. All of the workshops below are developed and presented by the Volunteer Center. We usually host 3-4 workshops per year in Greensboro, and partner with other organizations to offer training across North Carolina.

In this new offering, we help your organization discover new strategies for successful partnering with low-income communities. This curriculum, developed and presented nationally by the Points of Light Foundation and the Volunteer Center National Network, was based primarily on learnings and expereniences with partnerships that are happening right here in Greensboro! Come learn what Greensboro is helping to teach the rest of the country! Space is limited!
